Project Title: Creature
Medium: Concrete, 111 × 70 × 37 cm
Date: 2025
Concept/Idea of the work:
Creature is a contemporary interpretation of a prehistoric figurine. Its form originated from a series of drawings that combined the figure with text. During my residency at Elounda Island Villas, I created the sculpture using concrete — a material I specifically chose for its structural and physical qualities. The sculpture was placed on a pre-existing rock formation at the site, establishing a subtle dialogue with the surrounding environment.
